It's match day at Lowther Road, Director Dan Bateman gives us his views ahead of this afternoons game against Burnham FC.

Good afternoon, everyone and welcome to Lowther Road for this afternoon’s match against Burnham FC.
It seems like forever since we have played a home game due to the monsoon like weather, we have faced over the last 4-6 weeks which has led to every home game being called off! Hopefully these programme notes are finding you well on Saturday and for anyone who has not made it to our away games I hope you are pleasantly surprised with the improvement in the team since our last home game Holyport. No doubt the recent upturn in performances and results is as a result of key players returning from injury but also special mention to new signings Kian Henry, Tahir Carmichael, Remel Larwood and the returning James Clark who have made a huge difference (Keep your eyes peeled for another couple of exciting additions coming soon). On Tuesday night we were unfortunate to go down 2-0 against table toppers Flackwell Heath but received many a plaudit from home and away fans about the performance and if we can continue that until the end of the season then we will be sure to pick up the necessary points to ensure our premier division safety.
The Reserves continue what is turning into an excellent season for the lads who still sit top of the Suburban League North despite going down in their last match to Hartley Wintney Reserves 3-1. A little wait to the 14th March for their next game when they visit AFC Dunstable in the league cup.
Our U18s lost 6-1 to Sandhurst Town this week however there were plenty of positives in the performance.
Last and by no means least the WEFC Ladies team put in an impressive 8-0 victory last weekend away to Wroxton Sport Ladies and look forward to tomorrows return fixture against the same opponents. The sumas Ladies are still sitting in 3rd position in the league and really looking forward to pushing on for the remainder of the season.
The last month has shown real signs of a suma revival, and no doubt performances and results have improved dramatically. Let’s get behind the boys and make sure we finish the season as high up the league as possible! Enjoy the game this afternoon and look forward to catching up with you all.
SUMAS!!
